Guilloché: 6 Day Class (Intermediate)
Intermediate Guilloché
6-day class, 1’800 CHF, 2 students max. Classes run from 9:00 – 16:00 with a 1-hour lunch break. Lunch is included using local products.
In this 6-day complete immersion course, students will learn how to work on 3-D projects from napkin rings, to boxes and cylindrical pieces such as pens, or cigar holders, all made in the workshop. They will learn the different types of cutters and their applications as well as how to sharpen them using the GRS power hone and accufinish systems. Students will have help planning their final 2 projects with input from the instructor and will have available the use of a hydraulic press, and full jewelry workshop. Advanced patterning will be an important component in this course with its various applications.
Students will leave with many samples and 2+ finished advanced projects in brass, nickel, copper, wood, plastic, or sterling silver.
