Guilloché: 10 Day Class (Advanced with Enameling or Jewelry Instruction)

Advanced Guilloché

10-day class, 3’000 CHF, 2 students max per session. Classes run from 9:00 – 17600 with a 1-hour lunch break. Lunch is included using local products. As well as one or two local outings that the region is known for.

In this 10-day intensive course, students will learn to work independently and think out side of the preconceived notions of what guilloché can and cannot do/be. They will be encouraged to explore different applications for guilloché as well as to think about interesting and innovative forms for guilloché. Students will be exposed to contemporary uses of guilloché and will continue their study on self-sufficiency using both the straight-line machine and the rose engine combined with many other tools ranging from the hydraulic press, soldering station, to basic enameling and jewelry processes.

Students will complete a minimum of 3 projects in any materials they choose.
