Guilloché: 4 Day Class (Beginning/Intermediate)
Beginning Guilloché
4-day class, 1’300 CHF, 2 students max. Classes run from 9:00 – 16:00 with a 1-hour lunch break. Lunch is included using local products.
In this 4-day intensive course, students will learn how to set up the straight-line machines and the rose engines to create a variety of projects. They will learn to make an off-set center, used to decorate sub-dials in the watch industry, and apply guilloché using innovative and interesting methods. Students will learn about basic attachments such as the elliptical chuck, and glue plates vs. link chucks, and the eccentric chuck.
Students will leave with their own samples, and 1 finished projects in brass, nickel, copper, wood, plastic or other materials desired.
